Dream-Work
Dreams are neurons, communicating within the mind and body. Our brains never rest, so the activity therein is always active, even when we sleep. Dreams occur because when we sleep, our conscious mind switches off, however, the subconscious mind never switches off, and during restful periods the subconscious pushes thoughts into the space of consciousness. This causes us to experience. It is this experience that we call dreams.
This mystery we call life on Planet Earth is an illusion, created by our thoughts, which we collapse down into our reality, using our belief system. If our waking state is an illusion then what is a dream state? Which state is the one with meaning and purpose? In which illusion do we create most pain, stress, illness? Can we control our dreams as we control our waking time? Do we control our waking time? Are the two states connected and have dreams got meaning? In general we acknowledge that all conscious beings will dream. It is when the dream becomes debilitating or causes negative behavioural changes that help is needed.
At Mind For Life we have a unique programme that has helped many people who have been affected by their dreams. The corner-stone of the programme is the Dynamic Thought Transfer Technique TM and our methods of teaching. We do not have any magic formulas or special powers, we do not tell people how to live their lives … what we do is guide, teach, support, and encourage. We can guide clients back into their dream in a safe way, to resolve issues, and end the ‘nightmare’ or help the client to understand and interpret the meaning of the experience.
