Panic Attack

Our bodies are such wonderful entities; they are wired to protect us. The protection is a learned response that we influence through our thinking and behaviour.  Unfortunately this response can be triggered at times that are inappropriate to our lives, and such panic attacks can be detrimental to our health, well-being and chosen life-style.

Panic is a learned response to a given situation or event. In some cases it may be beneficial to panic or flee from a situation without too much thought, especially if it saves your life. Often panic sets in when a situation is perceived to be life threatening, for example “I felt claustrophobic in the escalator and I had a panic attack.”  When situations or events occur that are ‘normal’, but you find that you can not cope and you start to panic, then you need to address the underlying reasons for your behaviour.

At Mind For Life we have a unique programme that has helped many people who have suffered with panic attacks. The corner-stone of the programme is the Dynamic Thought Transfer Technique TM and our methods of teaching. We do not have any magic formulas or special powers, we do not tell people how to live their lives … what we do is guide, teach, support, and encourage; if the client fully participates in the programme then they will change their destructive behaviour.  Every person who has fully participated in the programme has learned how to eliminate inappropriate panic attacks gaining new confidence, self esteem and changed their belief system thus changed their thoughts.
